For example, no one wants to stay in a rental with a dried out, dead lawn.

Instead, take the time to water the lawn every morning. Keeping your lawn looking vibrant will improve your property’s curb appeal.

Try to avoid watering the lawn late in the afternoon. Watering too late will cause the water to evaporate quickly. As a result, your lawn won’t receive the nourishment it needs.

You should avoid watering the lawn during the hottest times in the day, too. Many people believe it’s essential to keep their lawns watered through the heat. Unfortunately, that water will disappear before it can do your lawn any good.

About 52% of adults plan a summer vacation each year. While many people want to enjoy the heat, they’ll also likely want to escape it after a long, hot day. In order to get your property ready for summer, make sure your guests have a working AC to come home to.

Make sure to check your AC unit’s efficiency before you rent out your property. Summer is a busy season for most AC technicians. In order to get your property ready in time for guests, consider getting your unit checked during the spring instead.

Make sure to have your filter replaced every three to six months. You should also replace your AC unit if it’s starting to get old.

#4: Prepare for Bugs

Summer’s hot temperatures are often an invitation for bugs to come out and play. Whether your area is prone to cockroaches, ants, or other critters, make sure your property is prepared to keep them out.

    Most recently I had an emergency repair request on NYE and the maintenance director, Javier, reached out to me immediately and let me know that he was reaching out to vendors to come fix the problem.
